Job summary

Cooper University Health Care seeks a clinical leader to direct and evaluate patient care services within the 23-bed Kelemen North 7 unit at the direction of the Clinical Director. The role requires the ability to work independently, assign workload, and coordinate care with nursing staff and ancillary services.

The position emphasizes collaboration across departments to ensure high-quality, cost-effective patient care and the ongoing development of staff, under the Clinical Director and manager

Qualifications

• Graduate from an NLN accredited school of nursing.
• Bachelor’s in Nursing required.
• Current New Jersey license as a Registered Nurse, BLS certification.
• National certification preferred within area of specialty for critical care, operating room, endoscopy and trauma.

Responsibilities

• Directs and evaluates patient care services within the assigned unit under the Clinical Director and in his/her absence.
• Assigns workload and ensures delivery of patient care through coordination of customer services and leadership of the nursing unit.
• Acts as liaison between nursing and medical staff; develops and maintains effective intra- and interdepartmental relationships.
