Job description

We are hiring immediately for a full time TRASH TECHNICIAN (OVERNIGHT) position at Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital, 2000 Church Street, Nashville, TN 37236. This role is for online applications only.

Job Summary

Collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols.

Schedule

Full time schedule; 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, weekdays may vary, weekends included.

Compensation

Fixed Pay Rate: $15.81 per hour.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Identify, transport, and dispose of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Perform cleaning functions as assigned; properly operate cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognize safety hazards and act accordingly.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Physical ability to walk, stand, and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
