Job summary

Compass Group USA is hiring a part-time Trash Technician in Miramar Beach, FL. The role involves collecting, transporting, and disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials in accordance with safety protocols, with rotating weekends and a fixed pay rate of $18.00 per hour.

Prior trash technician experience is preferred but not required, and training is offered. This position is with TouchPoint Support Services, serving Ascension Sacred Heart Emerald Coast.

Qualifications

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
