Job summary

TouchPoint is hiring immediately for a full-time Trash Technician at Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin, 1201 West 38th Street, Austin, TX 78705. Schedule is 3:00 pm to 11:30 pm; days may vary. No previous experience required. Fixed pay rate is $17.00 per hour.

You will collect, transport, and dispose of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols, and perform cleaning functions as assigned. This role includes safety hazard awareness and other duties as needed.

Qualifications

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash and bio‑hazardous materials following established safety protocols.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
