Compass Group USA’s TouchPoint division is hiring a Trash Technician (Overnight) for Ascension Saint Thomas Midtown Hospital in Nashville, TN. This full-time role runs 11:00 pm to 7:30 am, with weekends included, and involves collecting, transporting, and properly disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials following safety protocols.

The position requires prior experience handling medical waste and offers a fixed pay rate of $15.81 per hour.

Qualifications

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
