Job summary

Compass Group USA’s ESFM division is hiring a full-time Trash Technician to collect and dispose of trash and bio-hazardous materials, following safety protocols. The role requires physical ability to lift 50–100 pounds and basic English comprehension.

Shifts run Sunday through Wednesday or Wednesday through Saturday, 5:00pm–3:30am, with a start at a fixed pay rate of $15.50 per hour. Forklift certification is a plus and bilingual English/Spanish skills are preferred during interviews.

Qualifications

• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Collects, transports, and disposes of trash and biohazardous materials following safety protocols.
• Operates cleaning equipment as assigned.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
