Compass Group USA is seeking a full-time seasonal Trash Technician at 23714 Amoco Road, Channahon, IL 60410. The role operates in a 24/7 environment with night shifts 7:30 pm–6:00 am, and requires physical ability to handle heavy trash containers. Prior experience is preferred and safety procedures must be followed.

• We have an opening for full-time seasonal TRASH TECHNICIAN positions.
• Location: 23714 Amoco Road, Channahon, IL 60410 Note: online applications accepted only.
• Schedule: 24/7 operation shifts are from 7:30 pm to 6:00 am. Shift times will vary based on operational needs.
• Requirement: Prior trash technician experience is preferred.
• Fixed Pay Rate:$16.50 per hour.

Job Summary

Summary:Collects, transports, and properly disposes of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.
