Job summary

ESFM is seeking a full-time Trash Technician in Bessemer, AL. The role includes collecting, transporting, and disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials following safety protocols.

No experience is required; training will be provided. Schedule is full-time with multiple shifts. Starting pay is $15.80 per hour with $0.25 raises every 30 days for the first 90 days, up to $16.80 by 6 months.

Qualifications

• Must have physical ability to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.

• Schedule: Full time schedule. Multiple shifts available. More details during interview.
• Fixed Pay Rate: $15.80 per hour
• Employees start at $15.80 per hour, with pay increases of $0.25 every 30 days during the first 90 days. Pay progression reaches up to $16.80 per hour within the first 6 months (180 days). Additional annual increases may apply.
