Job summary

ESFM, Salt Lake City, is hiring for a full-time Trash Technician. This role requires transporting and disposing of trash and bio-hazardous materials following established safety protocols, plus operating cleaning equipment as needed.

Candidates should be able to walk, stand, and push 50–100 lb containers and follow written and oral English instructions. Excellent safety awareness is essential for this position.

Qualifications

• Must be able to walk, stand and push trash containers weighing 50 to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Identifies, transports, and disposes of trash, chemicals, and bio-hazardous materials using proper safety procedures.
• Performs cleaning functions as assigned; properly operates cleaning equipment as designated.
• Recognizes safety hazards and acts accordingly.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
