Job summary

WasteFree in North Austin is seeking a part-time Trash Collection Specialist to join our evening crew. You will collect residential trash and recycling in assigned multi-family communities, document conditions with our app, and report issues to the district manager.

A pickup truck, valid driver's license, and smartphone with data plan are required. The role offers 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM shifts Sunday to Thursday, pay of $20 per hour, and on-the-job training with opportunities for bonuses and

Qualifications

• Own a pickup truck and be willing to use it for trash collection.
• Possess a valid state-issued driver's license and vehicle insurance.
• Have a smartphone with a data plan.
• Currently employed full-time.
• Willingness to learn, receptive to coaching, and ability to follow instructions.
• Punctuality, dependability, and a strong work ethic.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50 lbs, navigate stairs, and walk distances.
• Positive attitude is a must.

Responsibilities

• Document dumpster/compactor condition upon arrival using our Service App.
• Collect household trash and recycling from residential units within assigned multi-family communities.
• Document violations and unit numbers by taking photos and submitting them with your Work Log at the end of each shift.
• Track and report issues to your district manager.
