Job summary

WasteFree in Grand Prairie, TX is hiring a Part Time Trash Collection Specialist to work evenings (8:00 PM – 11:00 PM), Sunday to Thursday, with a pickup truck. Earn $20/hour, receive hands-on training, and have opportunities for advancement and bonuses.

The role involves collecting trash/recycling from residential units, documenting conditions in the Service App, and reporting issues to the district manager. Must have a valid driver’s license, insurance, and a smartphone.

Qualifications

• Own a pickup truck and be willing to utilize it for trash collection.
• Possess a valid state-issued driver’s license and vehicle insurance.
• Have a smartphone with a data plan.
• Currently employed full-time.
• Willingness to learn, receptive to coaching, and ability to follow instructions.
• Punctuality, dependability, and a strong work ethic.
• Capacity to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Excellent verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work in all weather conditions.
• Physical capability to lift up to 50lbs, navigate stairs, and walk distances.
• Positive attitude is a must.

Responsibilities

• Document dumpster/compactor condition on arrival using the Service App.
• Collect household trash and recycling from residential units in assigned communities.
• Document violations and unit numbers with photos and log entries.
• Track and report issues to the district manager.

• Upon arrival, document the condition of dumpsters/compactors using our Service App
• Collect household trash and recycling from residential units within assigned multi-family communities
• Document violations and unit numbers by taking photos and submitting them with your Work Log at the end of each shift
• Track and report any issues or concern to your district manager.
