Job summary

Presbyterian Communities of South Carolina is seeking a dedicated Transporter in Easley to support residents’ mobility needs. You will transport residents to activities and appointments, ensuring safety and comfort throughout each trip, and maintain schedules as directed.

Ideal candidates have a High School diploma or GED, a valid SC driver’s license, and CNA/CPR certifications; 1–2 years of experience is preferred. This role offers competitive pay and a benefits package.

Qualifications

• Valid South Carolina driver’s license required.
• CNA license and CPR are preferred.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Transport residents safely to activities and medical appointments.
• Prioritize resident needs to accommodate as many as possible.
• Update and maintain the transport schedule regularly.
• Assist residents with needs as directed.
• Maintain vehicle cleanliness and perform safety checks before transport.

Transporter Key Responsibilities:

• Timely and safe transporting of residents to various individual and group activities including scheduled trips and medical appointments
• Prioritize times and needs to accommodate the greatest number of residents
• Update and maintain the schedule list regularly
• Assist with resident's needs when required or as directed
• Maintains the cleanliness of the vehicle, and completes a safety check of the vehicles before transporting residents

Transporter Required Qualifications:

• High School diploma or GED
• Valid South Carolina's driver's license

Transporter Preferred Qualifications:

• CNA License
• CPR
• 1-2 years of experience
