Job summary

Boone Health in Missouri is seeking a Part-Time Patient Transporter to move patients across the hospital and assist with patient care duties as delegated by a registered nurse. You will safely transport patients and items between rooms and departments, respond to emergencies, and help maintain smooth workflow with a strong focus on customer service. Shifts are Day Shift 8:00 a.m.

to 4:30 p.m. with rotating weekends and holidays; no prior experience required, training provided, and the role

Qualifications

• No experience required.
• Ability to respond to emergencies (code blue) and assist with patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Transport patients throughout the hospital.
• Assist with in-coming helicopter transports and morgue transfers.
• Respond to code blue and patient falls.
• Complete assigned tasks within department expectations.
• Perform other responsibilities as assigned.

Provides timely delivery of miscellaneous items while maintaining a high standard of customer service to ensure efficient workflow and continuity of care throughout the hospital.Job Responsibilities:Transports patients throughout the hospital, assists with in-coming helicopter transports, and transports deceased patients to the morgue.Responds to code blue (cardiac or respiratory arrests) situations and initaties chest compressions.
