Trinity Health is seeking a part-time Transporter to move patients safely and efficiently throughout our hospital. Under supervision, you will relay patients to care areas, deliver items, and help maintain transport equipment.

You may assist Public Safety with patient restraints and standbys, and you will participate in a supportive team focused on compassionate, patient-centered care. High school diploma required; hospital experience preferred but not required.

Description:

Position Summary: Under the direction of the supervisor, the transporter is responsible for transportation of patients throughout the hospital. Additionally, he/she delivers objects to patient care areas and ensures that transport equipment is properly maintained. Transport staff will assist Public Safety in patient restraints and standbys.

II. Position Requirements :

• A. Education: A minimum of high school diploma or equivalent a must.
• B: Experience: Hospital or related experience preferred but not required. On the job training provided.
