Job summary

Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus, OH seeks a Transport Technician to provide safe, timely transport of patients and equipment. You will move patients between units, assist them in and out of vehicles, and ensure vehicles remain clean and ready for use.

Requires a high school diploma; active BLS certification within 90 days of hire; strong communication, problem solving, and clinical awareness. Schedule: 7:00am-3:00pm with 2 weekday shifts and every other weekend.

Provides safe, timely and accurate transport of patients, medical equipment and patient-related items to their destinations enabling physicians, nurses, technicians, and therapists to perform their duties in an effective manner. Ensures positive patient and customer satisfaction, proper utilization of body mechanics, and adheres to policies and procedures.
