Job summary

Baptist Health Floyd invites applications for a Transporter. This full-time role operates 6:30a-7p with days varying, safely moving patients across the hospital by wheelchair, stretcher, or bed.

You may also transport specimens, equipment, messages, and parcels as needed, contributing to overall service excellence. The position is located in the Floyd Southern Indiana/Louisville, Kentucky area, offering competitive pay and benefits.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• BLS certification from approved BLS course required, will provide training
• Healthcare experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Transport patients throughout Baptist Health Floyd facility via wheelchair, stretcher, or bed.
• Transport specimens, equipment/supplies, messages, and parcels as designated.
• Perform other support services to provide service excellence to patients, visitors and staff.

Also transports specimens, equipment/supplies, messages, and parcels, as designated. Performs a variety of other support services functions as is needed to provide service excellence to patients, visitors and hospital staff.
