Job summary

Horrocks seeks an Utilities Engineer - Transportation to lead design, relocation, and constructability for large-scale transportation projects. You will coordinate with agencies and utility owners, ensuring compliance with codes and client requirements throughout the project lifecycle.

The role requires a Civil Engineering degree and a PE license, with 5+ years in total experience and 2+ years in transportation engineering or related fields.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering degree required.
• Professional Engineering License required.
• 5+ years of total experience in the field.
• 2+ years of transportation engineering, design or construction experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead and contribute to design, relocation, coordination, and constructability of utility systems on transportation projects.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve engineering and construction-related issues.
• Coordinate relocations with Federal, State and Local agencies or utility owners.
• Ensure compliance with codes, rules and client requirements.
• Prepare reports, studies, proposals, contracts and estimates.
