Job summary

Publix Super Markets in Lakeland, FL seeks an Inventory Control Associate to ensure inventory accuracy, validate data, and coordinate cycle counts across production and warehouse teams.

You will review schedules, resolve discrepancies, and uphold documented best practices while supporting management. This full-time role requires 18+ and strong computer skills; flexibility for nonstandard hours and lifting up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent experience.
• 1 year of manufacturing plant or distribution experience.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word.
• Excellent attendance and punctuality record.
• Ability to work Sundays after month-end closes, nights, weekends, holidays or extended periods.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or other analytical discipline
• 3 years of experience with SAP software
• Must have or be able to obtain a forklift license and operate a forklift
• Knowledge of accounting and operational processes within a Manufacturing environment and
• Experiences with inventory record keeping.

Year End Bonus

To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week’s pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks’ pay.
