Responsibilities

• Inspect, observe, and ensure construction complies with plans and specs.
• Maintain accurate daily records of work, labor, equipment, and materials.
• Coordinate and supervise technical engineering work in field or office.
• Compute and verify quantities, materials, costs, and final contractor payments.
• Assist licensed engineers in developing and designing highway construction projects.
• Review and draft construction plans under supervision of a licensed engineer.
