**Job Description**

The AECOM Transit Safety & Security team is seeking a senior level professional who is an FTA-certified professional to join our national team. As a preferred candidate, you will have the opportunity to work with the largest public transit providers in the United States. You will also have responsibilities related to rail and bus Safety & Security Certification, Safety Management Systems (SMS) assessment and review, Public Transportation Agency Safety Plan (PTASP) annual reviews, State Safety Oversight Agency (SSOA) coordination, and other rail- and bus-related project safety & security responsibilities.

**Qualifications**

**Minimum Qualifications:**

+ BA/BS + 10 years of related or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education

+ FTA Transit System Safety & Security Certification (TSSP/PTSCTP)

**Preferred Qualifications:**

+ Safety & Security Management Plan (SSMP)

+ Safety & Security Certification Plan (SSCP)

+ Preliminary Hazard Analysis (PHA)

+ Threat & Vulnerability Assessment (TVA)

+ Design Criteria Conformance Checklist (DCCC)

+ Operations Hazard analysis (OHA)

+ Construction Conformance Verification Checklist (CCVC)

+ On-site inspections for rail and bus facilities

+ Track inspection

+ Development of rollingstock testing and acceptance criteria

+ Rail and bus systems safety & security design review

+ Transit system security and cybersecurity review

+ Field safety / roadway worker protection
