Qualifications

• Knowledge of Transportation Industry.
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems.
• Working knowledge of MS Office with emphasis on Excel and Word.
• Ability to work any shift.
• Effective English communication, verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Ensure loads are delivered safely and on time; follow GMP and safety rules.
• Plan work assignments and schedules to keep drivers on time and meet transportation goals.
• Interpret transportation regulations, shipping orders, safety regs and company policies.
• Track loads, communicate with customers and personnel to exchange information and resolve issues.
• Verify drivers have tools and documents for trips.
• Monitor reports, time records, material use, and maintenance needs; review DVIRs.
• Explain tasks to new employees and assign training tasks to experienced staff.
• Recommend and implement measures to improve motivation, equipment performance, work methods, and customer service.
• Enforce FMCSA, DOT, and GMP guidelines; report accidents and incidents.
• Complete invoicing on time and accurately.
• All other duties as assigned.
