Job summary

Valley Truck Parts is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor in Tolleson, AZ to oversee daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving and material handling. You will assign work, train staff, and ensure productivity and accuracy metrics are met to support on-time deliveries.

You will lead cross-functional teams, develop process improvements, and manage inventory alongside purchasing. Strong communication and leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Basic math and computer skills; Microsoft Excel preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations including shipping, receiving and material handling.
• Assign work to team members, provide training and ensure productivity, accuracy and efficiency metrics.
• Set department vision and align it with Valley Truck Parts overall goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline inventory and order picking processes.
• Train and cross-train staff to ensure coverage during absences.
• Lead meetings and communicate updates on procedures, HR programs and initiatives.
• Develop improvement strategies to control labor and supply costs.
• Coordinate with purchasing to maintain stock while minimizing inventory levels.
• Maintain and process out work orders, transfer orders and related paperwork.
• Lead end-of-night shipping and transfer processes to ensure timely completion.
