Job summary

InnovAge Holding Corp. is seeking a Supervisor, Transportation to oversee a team of drivers and support staff across multiple centers. The role emphasizes safety, scheduling, and effective communication with dispatch and management to maintain reliable service for participants.

The position requires supervising at least three direct reports, ensuring compliance with safety policies, and coordinating with HR on personnel matters. Travel between local InnovAge sites is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years’ experience supervising staff in transportation.
• DOT and Defensive Driving experience.
• Knowledge of personnel management and safety regulations.
• Ability to interview, hire and train employees.

Responsibilities

• Supervises direct reports and provides leadership by example.
• Implements and enforces departmental policies in coordination with HR.
• Plans and directs work, assigns tasks, and rewards or disciplines staff.
• Ensures morale and a positive employment culture within the department.
• Manages personnel and route substitutions as needed.
• Distributes information on next day’s transportation schedules to staff.
• Supervises drivers in the field and communicates changes in conditions.
