Job summary

InnovAge is seeking a Manager, Transportation to oversee transportation staff, safety monitoring, and vehicle maintenance. Attendance at InnovAge facilities or participant homes is required to perform duties and support day-to-day operations.

The role includes supervising dispatchers, coordinating rides for participants, and supporting the leadership team in IDT activities and care planning. On-call responsibilities may apply as needed.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to oversee transportation operations and staff.
• Experience coordinating vehicle maintenance and safety procedures.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Administrative duties: inform Fleet Management of resource availability and vehicle status.
• Schedule driver pickups/drop-offs and maintenance at facilities.
• Assist Dispatchers and Director of Transportation with overtime, PTO and resource planning.
• Plan and assign drivers' daily duties, including medication and supply distribution; provide relief coverage.
• Coordinate participant ride scheduling with the dispatcher and ensure timely data reporting.
• Supervise drivers and ensure compliance with safety procedures; participate in IDT and leadership meetings.
• Occasionally provide after-hours on-call support and assist with Plans of Care for participants.
