Job summary

Performance Foodservice is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee driver supervision and training across the operating company. You will ensure safe, efficient, and timely deliveries while monitoring DOT logs and regulatory compliance.

You will coordinate driver-related paperwork, maintain vehicle safety practices, and support operations to minimize costs. Travel may be required for hands-on training and evaluations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; equivalent experience may count.
• 2-4 years transportation or related experience including knowledge of DOT and safety regulations.
• Experience operating computerized fleet management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervises associates including staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.
• Assists in scheduling and ensures deliveries and pickups are timely; travels with drivers up to 50% for training/evaluation.
