Job summary

Performance Food Group (New) is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to supervise and train drivers, ensuring safe, timely deliveries and DOT compliance across our OpCo network. You will monitor DOT logs, assist with driver payroll and records, and coordinate fleet operations in a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required, relevant experience considered.
• 2-4 years transportation or related experience including knowledge of DOT and safety regulations.
• Experience operating computerized fleet management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervises associates including staffing, training, coaching, performance management and problem resolution.
• Schedules deliveries and pickups, rides with drivers for training/evaluation.
• Assists in day-to-day administration of transportation and delivery functions.
• Calculates driver payroll, reviews trip logs and expense reports.
• Monitors vehicle safety, ramps, handcarts, seat belts and safe lifting practices.
• Maintains driver license status, tickets, accidents and risk data; handles paperwork.
