Job summary

Performance Food Group, through Performance Foodservice, is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to oversee delivery drivers at the operating company. You will supervise staff, coordinate routes, and ensure safe, on-time deliveries while enforcing DOT and company policies.

This role also involves reviewing driver logs, payroll elements, safety meetings, and maintaining DVIRs and other documentation. A CDL and prior supervisory experience are preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years transportation experience with knowledge of DOT and safety regulations.
• Experience operating computerized fleet management systems.

Responsibilities

• Supervise associates including staffing, training, coaching, and performance management.
• Schedule deliveries and rides with drivers for training/evaluation purposes.
• Assist in day-to-day administration of transportation and delivery functions; review driver logs and expense reports.
• Ensure drivers comply with DOT and OpCo regulations and maintain vehicle safety.
• Maintain driver paperwork and fleet records (invoices, DVIR, etc.).
• Help minimize operating expenses and ensure efficient routing.
