Job summary

Performance Food Group (New) is seeking a Supervisor of Drivers to lead and train delivery teams across the Midwest. You will ensure safe, timely deliveries, monitor DOT compliance, and coordinate driver records and paperwork. Travel up to 50% for training and evaluation.

Ideal candidates have supervisory experience, knowledge of DOT regulations, and a background in fleet management. CDL is preferred; bachelor's degree is not required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2-4 years transportation-related experience with knowledge of DOT rules.
• Associates/2-year technical degree preferred in business management, logistics or related area.
• Class A CDL preferred or required by role depending on OpCo.
• Supervisory experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train drivers at Operating Company (OpCo).
• Ensure deliveries are safe, efficient, and timely.
• Monitor DOT logs and ensure compliance with regulations.
• Coordinate driver information (license status, tickets, incidents).
• Oversee paperwork: invoices, trip reports, DVIRs, fuel tickets, etc.
• Maintain trucks and equipment through post-trip inspections.
• Assist in budgeting to minimize operating costs.
• Travel up to 50% for training/evaluation.
