Job summary

McLane is seeking a Transportation Supervisor to supervise a group of drivers and ensure safe, on-time deliveries. You will use routing systems and dispatcher procedures to keep operations efficient.

You’ll review logs for DOT compliance and coordinate with other DC departments to ensure accuracy. A high school diploma is required; a Bachelor's is preferred, with 1+ year in transportation management in food distribution helpful.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of transportation management experience in food distribution.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations.
• AS/400 experience preferred.
• Truck routing software experience preferred.
• Able to work a varied and flexible schedule.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office programs.
• English reading/writing ability for safety and instructions.

Responsibilities

• Achieve safe, timely, and accurate deliveries using routing and dispatch procedures.
• Review driver logs, hours of service, and other DOT requirements for compliance.
• Coordinate activities with other distribution center departments to ensure timely deliveries.
• Perform additional duties and special projects as assigned by the supervisor.
