Job summary

John Knox Village of Florida, Inc. is seeking a Full Time Transportation Supervisor to provide safe and friendly transportation within our community and the greater tri-county area.

The role requires supervising the Security and Transportation department, aiding in scheduling, and hiring and coaching staff to ensure timely and quality resident transportation. A team-focused, problem-solving approach with flexibility for weekends is essential.

Qualifications

• Valid Florida Driver's license and a clean driving record.
• 3+ years of passenger driving experience.
• Prior supervisory experience preferred.
• Team player who contributes as an active member.
• Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.
• Flexible schedule including weekends and holidays.
• Ability to make important decisions under pressure.

Responsibilities

Transportation Supervisor-Full Time

John Knox Village is seeking a dynamic and experienced Full Time Transportation Supervisor to provide safe and friendly transportation throughout the John Knox Village community, as well as the greater tri-county community.

Responsibilities Include

• Supervising the Security and Transportation department
• Helping with scheduling
• Assists in hiring, supervising, evaluating and coaching employees
• Documents emergencies, shift issues and incidents
• Monitors residents' needs are being met for transportation requests and other needs
• Monitors events and activities on campus
• Ensures the safety and well-being of our residents

What We're Looking For

• Valid Florida Driver's license and a clean driving record'CDL license with passenger endorsement preferred
• 3+ years of passenger driving experience
• Prior supervisory experience a plus
• Someone who likes being a part of a team; contributes as an active team member
• Prior experience working in a healthcare setting a plus
• A flexible schedule with the ability to work weekends and holidays
• An all-around problem solver: someone who works well and can make important decisions under pressure
