The Transportation Supervisor role is responsible for directing and coordinating activities of the transportation department to optimize the use of equipment, facilities, freight, and personnel.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee coordinators and dispatchers within the transportation department; cover for team members as needed.
• Manage carrier routing, procure trucks, schedule deliveries, and oversee carrier performance.
• Administer driver electronic logs and communicate policies and procedures to carriers.
• Assign drivers and carriers, monitor delivery status, load temperatures, and truck weights.
• Manage freight rates in the JDE system for accuracy.
• Track carrier performance, generate KPI reports, and prepare weekly logistics reports for management.
• Participate in meetings with operations, logistics, and safety teams.
• Communicate service issues with customer service and internally.
• Support negotiation and rate comparison for outside carriers.
• Develop and conduct training programs, including safety.
• Support CSR objectives and progress toward 2025 CSR goals and B Corp standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
