A leading logistics company is seeking a Supervisor to oversee hourly associates in a transportation operation. The role involves ensuring compliance with safety procedures, managing daily operations, and fostering a positive work environment. Candidates should have warehouse and supervisory experience, strong communication skills, and be bilingual in English and Spanish. This position offers a chance to contribute to a dynamic team focused on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
Position Summary:
Supervises a group of hourly associates in a transportation operation. Monitors day-to-day operations for compliance to establish safety and logistics procedures.
Shift : Monday to Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:00 AM

Evaluate and recommend changes in preferred work processes to improve customer satisfaction, Effectively manage deadline pressures while maintaining a positive attitude, Ensure customer's product is stored or delivered in a timely basis, damage free.

Qualifications:
-3-5 years warehouse experience required
-2 years supervisory experience in a warehouse environment preferred.
-High School Diploma or equivalent required
-Bachelors Degree preferred
-Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred
-Must possess good communication skills as well as organizational and problem solving skills.
-Must be able to use CRT, PC, scanners, calculators and related equipment.
-Must have SAP knowledge
-Working knowledge of MRP and JIT preferred.
-Strong written/oral communication and organizational skills are required
-Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required
-Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job
-Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening required.
