COMPENSATION INFORMATION: The pay range provided is not indicative of Sysco's actual pay range but is merely algorithmic and provided for generalized comparison. Factors that may be used to determine rate of pay include specific skills, work location, work experience and other individualized factors.
Monday - Saturday off on Wednesday. Hours are flexible with rotating shifts. Opening shift from 2am until complete. Closing shift from 11am until complete. Work on standby once every 4th Sunday. Remote answering for emergencies.
This position supports the transportation manager/director in supervising delivery and backhaul activities, including training staff, ensuring compliance with regulations, and promoting safety.
Education: High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; college degree in management or supply chain preferred.
Experience: 2-4 years in transportation or related training.
Class A CDL and DOT training preferred but not required.
Knowledge of FMCSA, DOT regulations, SOPs; proficiency in Microsoft Office; decision-making skills; leadership abilities; problem-solving; compliance; stress management; software literacy; communication skills; basic math skills; ability to interpret regulations; report writing; presentation skills.
