The Transportation Supervisor - Yard provides direct supervision for the Yardspotters and fueling department.

Essential Functions

• Responsible for all activities relating to the truck yard including location of trucks, cleanliness, and more.
• Review all fueling reports and supervise yardspotters and one transportation assistant.
• Supervise and coordinate activities regarding hand cart assignments including check-in and check-out processes.
• Responsible for lock checks and temperature checks.
• This position has additional duties. Special projects may be assigned at the supervisor's discretion.

Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• MUST CURRENTLY HAVE CLASS A CDL LICENSE
• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• At least 1 year of transportation management experience in the food distribution industry.
• Knowledge of general truck yard operations.
• Ability to work a varied and flexible schedule.
• Basic competency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).
