Job description

Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is seeking motivated, team-oriented individuals for a Full-Time Transportation Supervisor position at our Averill Warehouse in Flint.

Compensation: $15 per hour

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 5:30 am to 2:00 pm

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Assist in directing work to meet pickup and delivery schedules.
2. Assume dock area responsibilities in the supervisor's absence.
3. Assist in training and evaluating dock personnel, including consumers assigned for assessment.
4. Maintain cleanliness of the dock area, truck wells, and oversee trash removal.
5. Monitor trash compactor and metal salvage activities.
6. Adhere to all policies and procedures, maintaining good attendance.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
• Logistics experience preferred; management experience required
• Knowledge of union environments preferred
• Proficiency in MS Word and Excel; strong safety focus
• Show initiative, good judgment, and dependability
