Curtis Contracting, Inc. (CCI) seeks an experienced project leader to oversee bridge and heavy civil construction from preconstruction through closeout.

You will develop and maintain integrated schedules, baselines, and cost control, while coordinating with teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely, on-budget delivery. The role emphasizes safety, environmental stewardship, and strong leadership.

Formación

• Bachelor’s in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related discipline preferred.
• 5–10+ years managing heavy civil and bridge work with successful outcomes.
• Proven experience delivering VDOT or other DOT transportation infrastructure projects.
• Fluency with construction contracts and scheduling tools.
• Clear, organized communicator with strong leadership and team-building skills.

Responsabilidades

• End-to-end delivery of bridge and heavy civil projects—from preconstruction planning through final closeout.

• Cross-functional coordination across project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to keep information and work flowing.
• Contract administration, including RFIs, submittals, and change order management.
• Jobsite leadership focused on safety and environmental stewardship, ensuring standards are met or exceeded.
• Direction and support for field crews and subcontract partners to drive productivity and quality.
• Regular engagement with VDOT and other public agencies to uphold specifications and project alignment.

Lead the Build: A Day in the Life

You start your morning aligning the team on a river crossing replacement: scopes validated, milestones locked in, and risks mapped. By mid-day, you’re coordinating with subcontractors, reviewing a change order package, and confirming that environmental controls meet spec. Before close, you’re in Primavera P6 tuning the critical path to keep the job on schedule and on budget—while checking in with DOT stakeholders to keep quality and compliance on point.

What You’ll Own
