Dormont Manufacturing Co is seeking a Structural Group Leader to lead our Transportation Structural team in Chicago. In this pivotal leadership position, you will ensure strategic growth and high-quality delivery of highway and transit projects, working closely with key clients including IDOT and CDOT.

The ideal candidate has at least 15 years of experience in structural engineering, strong leadership skills, and an active Illinois Structural Engineer license.

Qualifications

• Active Illinois Structural Engineer, S.E. license is required.
• 15+ years in structural engineering with 5 years in a supervisory leadership capacity.
• Deep familiarity with AASHTO LRFD, AREMA, and IDOT, CDOT standards.

Responsibilities

• Direct a team of engineers and technicians, managing resource allocation.
• Support Client Service Teams in identifying opportunities and leading proposal efforts.
• Oversee the technical quality and financial performance of structural projects.
• Manage group budgets, utilization targets, and recruitment.
