Job summary

Stantec’s Transportation group is seeking a Structural Bridge Engineer to join their Gulf Region. This role may be based in Baton Rouge, LA, New Orleans, LA, Jackson, MS, or Nashville, TN.

We seek a team player with excellent client and communication skills, strong design capabilities, and expertise in transportation structures including bridges and related elements. The role involves design, analysis, load rating, inspection, and rehabilitation/repair work across North America.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering; master's degree preferred.
• 6+ years of experience with LADOTD, MDOT, or TDOT.
• P.E. license in Louisiana, Mississippi, and/or Tennessee.
• Possess or able to obtain Certified Bridge Inspector status.

Responsibilities

• Develop construction plans, specifications, cost estimates, and engineering reports for infrastructure projects including bridges.
• Engage in design, load rating, inspection, and rehabilitation/repair activities.
• Collaborate with project teams across office and field settings; manage time and budget constraints.
