Job summary

Stantec’s Transportation group in the Gulf Region seeks a Structural Bridge Engineer to join a collaborative team serving Baton Rouge, New Orleans, Jackson and Nashville. You will work on transportation structures, including bridges and related elements, applying strong design capabilities to deliver safe, efficient infrastructure.

Responsibilities include evaluating, selecting and specifying systems, and developing construction plans, cost estimates, and engineering reports for infrastructure

Qualifications

• Experience designing or evaluating transportation structures, especially bridges.
• Strong communication with clients and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work in a collaborative, multi-disciplined environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate, select and specify systems for infrastructure projects.
• Develop construction plans, cost estimates and engineering reports for bridges and related structures.
• Perform design, analysis, load rating, inspection and rehabilitation/repair tasks on bridges.
