Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a strategy and organizational consultant to support USDOT initiatives. You will work with government leaders to standardize operations, develop SOPs, and create training materials while managing client relationships and project risks.

The role requires up to 10% travel, US citizenship, and ability to obtain public trust. Salary ranges from $74,000 to $124,000 with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• One to three years of management consulting experience, preferably within the public sector.
• Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Participate in information gathering sessions with clients regarding organizational structure, process, technology, and culture.
• Develop work products that clearly synthesize information into recommendations for client.
• Draft, update, and/or quality-control edit SOPs, templates, and technical documents for client.
• Develop and maintain user-friendly training materials, job aids, and reference products.
• Present work products and information to clients in meetings and facilitate discussions on those items.
• Collaborate with a team to develop solutions to solve organizational challenges for a government client leading major unification initiatives.
• Develop project management artifacts such as decision trackers, meeting summaries, and status reports.
• Identify and manage project risks and issues.
• Work with stakeholders to help keep projects on-time and within budget.
