Job summary

Guidehouse supports the USDOT to advance a safer, modern transportation system. We seek a Senior Consultant to drive communications, change management, stakeholder engagement, and training for government modernization efforts.

You will gather client needs, synthesize findings into actionable recommendations, and lead workshops, pulse surveys, and readiness assessments while developing training materials and intranet content.

Qualifications

• US citizen with ability to obtain/maintain Public Trust clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• 3–5 years of experience in communications, change management, training, stakeholder engagement, or organizational transformation.
• Strong written and verbal communication with ability to produce executive-level deliverables.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
• Willingness to travel and work in Guidehouse offices or client sites.

Responsibilities

• Participate in information gathering sessions with clients on structure, process, technology, and culture.
• Develop work products that synthesize information into recommendations for the client.
• Support stakeholder engagement with workshops, listening sessions, and outreach campaigns.
• Design, administer, and analyze stakeholder feedback mechanisms including pulse surveys and readiness assessments.
• Draft, update, and quality-control edit strategic communication work products.
• Develop and maintain public-facing intranet content and online resources.
• Manage content for SharePoint, Google Sites, Drupal, or similar platforms.
• Develop and maintain user-friendly training materials, job aids, and reference products.
• Present work products to clients in meetings and facilitate discussions.
• Collaborate to develop solutions for unification initiatives for government clients.
• Identify and manage project risks and issues.
• Help keep projects on-time and within budget.
