Job summary

Guidehouse is seeking a strategy and organizational senior consultant to help USDOT execute its mission. You will collaborate with government leaders to implement policies and standardize operations across offices, delivering high-quality client deliverables and working closely with clients.

The role requires 3+ years in management consulting (public sector preferred), ability to obtain/public trust, strong analytical and communication skills, and willingness to travel up to 10% while supporting

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college/university.
• Three (3+) plus years of management consulting experience, preferably within the public sector.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal or DoD Public Trust; ACTIVE PUBLIC TRUST or SUITABILITY preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of high-quality client deliverables that meet client requirements
• Develop detailed project schedules to monitor performance
• Identify and manage project risks and issues
• Develop detailed status reports for individual programs
• Work with diverse stakeholders to fully understand business requirements and interdependencies
• Work with stakeholders to help keep projects on-time and within budget
• Lead the facilitation of client meetings, work groups, or interviews
• Provide guidance, coaching, and quality assurance to junior staff
