Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a related discipline with substitutions allowed by experience.
• 2 years experience for Transportation Specialist I; 4 years for Transportation Specialist II.
• Valid U.S. driver`s license and ability to operate a state vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Assists with project assignments and determining work requirements to complete project plans and coordinates scheduling to accommodate projects already underway.
• Coordinates design work among TxDOT entities, consultants and contractors.
• Develops site layouts utilizing engineering workstations and software.
• Performs data collection, evaluations, analyses, studies, inspections, forecasts, assessments, and/or plan development.
