Community Care Alliance is seeking a Transportation Specialist to provide transportation to supervised visits for children in out‑of‑home placements, working with foster families and agency staff. The role emphasizes safety, coordination, documentation, and adherence to state standards.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license with reliable transportation, and a clean driving record, plus willingness to pass a DCYF clearance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of a high school diploma or GED and experience with children/youth or a social service setting.
• Bi-lingual candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
• Must have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and current vehicle insurance.
• Excellent driving record; able to pass a driver’s license verification for agency vehicles.
• Must also pass a DCYF clearance.

Responsibilities

• Provide transportation to and from supervised visits with biological families for children in out-of-home placements.
• Coordinate scheduling of visits with foster parents and all involved parties.
• Ensure the safety of passengers at all times.
• Maintain documentation for state, program, and agency standards.
• Implement individualized transportation plans and communicate with families as needed.
