Job summary

JANUS et Cie in Santa Fe Springs, CA is seeking a Transportation Specialist to own export shipments and schedule California deliveries. This full-time, non-exempt role connects our warehouse, carriers, and customers to ensure on-time departures and reliable deliveries.

You will resolve routing conflicts, keep export documentation airtight, and communicate clearly with warehouse, sales, and customer-facing teams to meet customer expectations.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, or export coordination.
• SAP ERP experience, ideally with order/shipment processing.
• Strong communicator and problem-solver able to coordinate with warehouses, carriers, and customers.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end planning and tracking of all warehouse export shipments.
• Export documentation accuracy — invoices, packing lists, bills of lading.
• CA delivery scheduling and routing from first mile to final drop-off.
• Real-time problem solving when carriers or timelines go off track.
• Maintain clear communication with warehouse, sales, and customer-facing teams.

Every JANUS et Cie piece that leaves our warehouse has a story and you're the one who makes sure it gets where it's going, on time, every time. We're looking for a sharp, detail-driven Transportation Specialist to own our export shipment process and run point on California delivery scheduling and routing.

This isn't a \"track a spreadsheet and hope\" role. You'll be the connective tissue between our warehouse, carriers, and customers ;solving routing conflicts before they become problems, keeping export documentation airtight, and making sure every delivery window actually holds.

What you'll own:

• End-to-end planning and tracking of all warehouse export shipments
• Export documentation accuracy — commercial invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, and more
• CA delivery scheduling and routing, from first mile to final drop-off
• Real-time problem-solving when carriers, timelines, or routes go sideways
• Clear, constant communication with warehouse, sales, and customer-facing teams
