Job summary

Pine Village is seeking a Director of Transportation in the Nursing department to oversee transportation staff and ensure safe, timely transport for residents according to care plans and facility policies. You will report to the Director of Nursing and coordinate with Transportation Coordinators.

Responsibilities include managing transfers, maintaining vehicle readiness, safeguarding medical paperwork, and ensuring daily documentation is completed.

Qualifications

• Must be a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with Kansas.
• Current CPR/BLS certification required.
• Valid, unencumbered state driver's license required.

Responsibilities

• Provides transportation services to residents as scheduled or as needed for appointments or events.
• Assists residents with transfers during transport per care plans.
• Onboards and offboards residents from the vehicle, including use of lifts and maneuvering.
• Safeguards resident medical paperwork during transports and provides to receiving provider.
• Accepts directions to coordinate transport schedules under supervision.
• Maintains transport paperwork, logs, and residency presence on roster during onboarding/offboarding.
