Memorial Home Inc. in Kansas is seeking a Director of Transportation to lead Transportation staff and schedule resident transport in accordance with care plans and facility policies.

The role reports to Nursing leadership and oversees transportation coordinators to ensure timely, safe, and compliant transport services. Qualifications include a Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing in Kansas, current CPR/BLS certification, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

Certified Nursing Assistant in good standing with the state of Kansas (required).
CPR/BLS certification current.
Valid, unencumbered state-issued driver’s license.

Responsibilities

Directs Transportation staff in scheduling to provide transport services for residents.
Assist residents with transfers and onboarding/offboarding from the vehicle.
Ensure vehicle maintenance, accuracy of transport paperwork, and timely transport to appointments/events.
Coordinate with Nursing leadership and other supervisors to plan transport schedules.
Maintain confidentiality and comply with facility policies, safety rules, and regulatory guidelines.
