INCATech has an immediate opening for a Transportation Security Screener at the Kansas City International Airport. Full-time positions are available, with hourly pay increases at 1st and 2nd year anniversaries. Paid training is provided, leading to a security officer certification. Grow your career within the critical transportation security industry! Full-time hours required.

Starting Pay: $19.64/hr (1st year); $24.33/hr (1-2 years); $29.76/hr (2-3 years); $30.75/hr (3-4 years); $31.74/hr (4-5 years); $32.74/hr (5-6 years, with an additional $4.57/hr for health benefits)

Responsibilities:

1. Operating passenger screening equipment
2. Communicating and performing passenger searches as needed
3. Making quick, effective decisions in routine and crisis situations while maintaining focus and attention to detail
4. No prior security experience required; 2 weeks of paid training in Georgia leading to certification as a Transportation Security Officer

Requirements:

• Must be a US Citizen
• At least 18 years old
• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
• Excellent communication skills in English; ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend
• Ability to operate security equipment at checkpoints
• Attention to detail, reliable work ethic, interpersonal skills
• Ability to complete training and certification after 1 year of employment
• Flexible to work irregular hours, including holidays and weekends
• Ability to follow SOPs and verbal/written instructions
• Pass hearing, vision (20/20 corrected), color test, blood pressure, agility, and drug screening
• Successful background check; no significant debt or delinquent taxes/child support
