Job summary

VMD Corp, a subsidiary of Xcelerate Solutions, seeks a Transportation Security Officer at Glacier Park International Airport to protect travelers and the nation’s air infrastructure. You will use your customer service and critical-thinking skills to identify and prevent unsafe objects from entering onto aircraft.

No prior experience is required; on-the-job training is provided, with potential travel for a 2-week session.

Qualifications

• Be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National.
• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Have a High School Diploma or GED.
• Be proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking, listening).
• Must possess customer service skills.
• Pass a computerized assessment (pattern recognition and spatial reasoning).
• Pass a medical evaluation (vision, hearing, joint mobility).
• Pass pre-employment drug test.
• Pass TSA background and financial records check.
• Able to work any day, any shift (12:00 AM–11:59 PM).
• Minimum Clearance to Start: Public Trust.

What you will do:

Grow in a fulfilling career as a Transportation Security Officer at the Glacier Park International Airport (GPI) working alongside a team of aviation security professionals. You will use your outstanding customer service and critical-thinking skills while ensuring passenger safety by identifying and preventing unsafe objects from entering onto aircraft.

Responsibilities specific to this role include, but are not limited to:

• Passenger and Baggage Screening
• Operating various screening equipment.
• Communicating and interacting with travelers

What you will need:

• Be a U.S. Citizen or U.S. National
• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a High School Diploma or General Education Development (GED)
• Be proficient in English (reading, writing, speaking, and listening)

• Pass a medical evaluation (vision, hearing, and joint mobility exam)
• Pass pre-employment drug test

• Ability to work any day, Monday – Sunday, and any shift between 12:00 AM and 11:59 PM
• Minimum Clearance to Start: Public Trust

Competitive Compensation - $22.00 an hour

Training

• No prior experience is necessary.
• Receive on-the-job training and, if applicable, travel accommodations for a 2-week training session in Georgia to become a certified officer.
