The Transportation Security Administration is seeking Transportation Security Officers to ensure the safety of travelers across various transportation sectors. Candidates must have relevant experience in security or aviation screening and a high school diploma. The role includes responsibilities for securing events and figures, with occasional travel for training. This position is crucial for maintaining safety standards in the transportation system.

To qualify for the SV-D pay band (equivalent to GS-5/6), you must meet one of the following qualification requirements:
Experience is credited based on a 40-hour workweek. Part-time experience is credited proportionally. Volunteer experience through National Service programs or other organizations is also credited.
